Safe Space Salina is an initiative that was created during the 2025 Leadership Salina session. The purpose behind the project is to allow businesses and organizations to identify themselves as a safe space where everyone is welcomed, respected, and protected in our community. Participating businesses and organizations will display a Safe Space Salina decal signaling to residents and visitors that they are committed to treating people with dignity and kindness.
